Samantha Ruth Prabhu Issues Statement Against False Rumours

Hyderabad, October 8 - It has been a week since one of the most loved South Indian celebrity couples, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya announced their separation after 4 years of marriage. Since then, there have been a lot of rumours blaming the actress for the separation from Chaitanya.

On Friday (October 8), Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to social media and issued a statement against the false rumours and stories that are being spread around her personal life. She also thanked her well-wishers for standing with her during these tough times.



"Your emotional investment into a personal crisis has overwhelmed me", said Sam in the statement. "Thank you all for showing deep empathy, concern and for defending me against the false rumours and stories that are being spread. They said I had affairs, never wanted children, that I am an opportunist and now that I have had abortions", she added.

"A divorce in itself is an extremely painful process. Let alone allowing me the time to heal. This attack on me personally, has been relentless. But I promise you this, I will never allow this or anything else they say, break me", Sam concluded.

Samantha and Chaitanya announced their sepration on October 2 and released statement on social media. The two got married in Goa as per traditional Hindu customs on 6 October 2017 and then by Christian customs on 7 October 2017.
