SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' In Race To Grab 3 Nominations At Golden Globe Awards

Hyderabad, December 10 - SS Rajamouli's path-breaking, RRR has been on the award hunt and has won multiple International awards in the last couple of weeks. The movie is having an all-time high buzz for the Oscars 2023 and Golden Globe Awards nominations.

"RRR" has been creating waves in the West and has been showered with the adulation of the audience. While the Oscars nominations will be announced in January 2023, the nominations for the Golden Globe Awards be announced on Monday, December 12, and "RRR" is in the race to grab a couple of nominations.



Variety, a renowned American media company, has predicted "RRR's" nomination in the Best Picture (musical or comedy) and Best Non-English language feature categories. Apart from the Best Picture categories, the dance number of the year, "Naatu Naatu" by Kala Bhairava, M. M. Keeravani, Rahul Sipligunj from "RRR" has also been predicted to score a nomination in the Original Song category.

The Golden Globe Awards are accolades bestowed by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association beginning in January 1944, recognizing excellence in both American and international film and television. Beginning in 2022, there are 105 members of the HFPA.

"RRR" tells the tale of two rebels, played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR, who take on the might of the British empire. The film also became Rajamouli's second consecutive film to earn more than Rs 1000 crore worldwide after "Baahubali: The Conclusion".
