'Pushpa - The Rise' Is In Race To Cross Rs. 100 Crores Mark In Hindi

Mumbai, January 27 - Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer "Pushpa - The Rise" is showing historical trends at the Hindi box office. Having already become a trendsetter film among the masses, this Sukumar directorial has clearly refused to die down at the box office despite the early OTT premiere on Amazon Prime Video.

There weren't many films in the past that touched Rs. 1 crore single day mark in their 6th week, however, "Pushpa" is proving to be an exception on that front. On the Republic Day holiday, the action thriller witnessed a major jump of nearly 200% at the Hindi box office, by generating approx Rs. 1.55 crores on its 41st day, which is remarkable for every type of film, let alone the dubbed version.



In the 6th week so far, "Pushpa - The Rise" for the Hindi version has earned approx Rs. 5.50 crores as full week likely to touch Rs. 6 crores. The film has reached approx Rs. 97 crores after 41 days at the box office. The jump in collection of the Hindi version has kept the movie's hope alive for reaching Rs. 100 crores net, which will be nothing short of historic achievement for a dubbed version.

The 100 crores mark now looks inevitable, especially after knowing the fact that the government of Delhi has permitted theaters to open with 50% capacity. This will surely help "Pushpa - The Rise" to get an additional push towards Rs. 100 crores mark.

While the covid-19 third wave has proved to be a full stop for most of the film, it is proving to be beneficial for "Pushpa - The Rise" as it gets to enjoy the free run at the Hindi box office. While the strong word of mouth did its job by attracting the audiences, it was (no competetion) the last thing makers could hope for. With next new release is on February 11 in the form of "Badhaai Do", the Allu Arjun-starrer all the chances to reach the historical box office figure.
