Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's Blockbuster 'Jalsa' To Be Screened On His Birthday

Hyderabad, August 12 - Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan's all-time blockbuster, Jalsa, is gearing up for the special screening on the occasion of Powerstar's birthday on September 2. The remastered version of the film will be screened across Telugu states.

The action-comedy film, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, was the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2008. The movie grossed 28.12 crores at the box office and is considered a milestone film in Pawan Kalyan's career. The actor was dealing with back-to-back flops before "Jalsa" changed his fortune for him.



Produced by Allu Aravind under the Geetha Arts banner, "Jalsa" also stars Ileana D'Cruz, Parvati Melton, Kamalinee Mukerji, Mukesh Rishi, and Prakash Raj, among others in key roles.

Filmmaker Sai Rajesh recently shared an update regarding Jalsa’s special shows. Taking to Twitter, the director said that he watched Jalsa’s new print in QUBE and the quality of it was amazing.

"Finished watching #Jalsa in #QUBE Babu kothaga konna Adham la merisipothunnadu kotha print lo…Sound quality is amazing Start ur celebrations…. Shows and Publicity will be organised by Senior fans. I am not taking any responsibility from here on #SanjaySahuArriving", Sai Rajesh tweeted.
