PSPKRana Movie To Clash With Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata On Sankranthi 2022

Hyderabad, July 27, 2021: The festival of Sankranthi 2022 is going to be epic for Telugu cinema lovers who will witness one of the biggest Box Office clashes on the auspicious occasion. Elaborating it further, Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata will be competing with Pawan Kalyan - Rana Daggubati's yet-untitled film on Sankranthi 2022.

Directed by Saagar K Chandra, the PSPKRana movie is said to be the official Telugu remake of the 2020 Malayalam action thriller film, Ayyappanum Koshiyum. The Telugu remake marks Kalyan and Daggubati's first collaboration. Produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, the movie recently resumed shooting in Hyderabad.

Pawan Kalyan is playing the role of a police inspector as Bheemla Nayak. Trivikram has penned the dialogues while Thaman S has composed the music of the film. Sithara Entertainment took to Twitter and shared a video giving a small glimpse from the sets of its #ProductionNo12 and also announced the release date.

On the other hand, Sarkaru Vaari Paata was officially announced last year on 31 May 2020, on the occasion of Babu's father Krishna's birthday. Directed by Parasuram, the Geetha Govindam director called the project a "dream come true" moment as the movie marks his first collaboration with the actor. The movie also stars Keerthy Suresh as the female lead.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus, and G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment while S. Thaman has composed the music. The movie is scheduled to release in January 2022 coinciding with Sankranti.

Meanwhile, it is the second time in a row when Mahesh Babu's film with be clashing at the box office with another big star's movie. His last film "Sarileru Neekevvaru" had completed with Allu Arjun's "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" with both released one day apart. Both the movie did very well at the box office and became blockbusters with Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo crossing net Rs. 200 crore mark.
