Hyderabad, May 1, 2021: Superstar Mahesh Babu has joined hands with director Trivikram Srinivas for his next film. The actor is currently busy in Sarkaru Vaari Paata with director Parasuram, and even before completing the shoot, he has announced his much-awaited collaboration.

It is the third time, the actor-director duo is joining hands for a film project. Earlier, the duo worked on Athadu (2005), and Khaleja (2010), and now after 11 years, they are coming together for another project, tentatively titled, SSMB28. It will be produced by S Radha Krishna under the banner of Haarika & Hassine Creations. The movie will release in summer 2022 while the shoot will start soon.

The details about the projects have been kept under wraps. Meanwhile, Trivikram, who previously helmed blockbuster "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" starring Allu Arjun, is currently working on the Telugu remake of the Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum.
