Telugu Movie 'F3' Producers Will Not Apply For Ticket Price Hike In AP-TG

Hyderabad, May 12 - For the last few months, the big-budget Telugu movies have been released with ticket price hikes in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. While this strategy has benefitted films like "RRR" and "KGF Chapter", the same wasn't the case with "Radhe Shyam", and "Acharya".

The producers of the upcoming Telugu comedy movie, "F3: Fun and Frustration", seem to have learned from the previous movies and have reportedly decided against the ticket price hikes. According to Telangana Today, the "F3" producers have decided to use standard ticket prices.



While the official confirmation is yet to be made, "F3" will be the first big-budget Telugu movie to be released with regular ticket prices ever since the governments allowed prices to hike for movie tickets.

The growing ticket prices have been a topic of discussion within the Indian film fraternity since the last year. The covid-19 pandemic has made the audiences hesitant towards visiting theaters to watch the movies and on top of that, the price hike is also not helping either. The impact of huge ticket rates could be seen in the recent movies that bombed at the box office despite positive reviews from critics.

Moving back to "F3", if the makers decide to go with old ticket prices, it will surely benefit the makers to generate more footfalls, and if it gets good reactions, then the film could become a family blockbuster just like its preceder.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations, "F3" movie stars Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah, and Mehreen Pirzada reprising their roles from the previous film alongside Sunil and Sonal Chauhan as new additions. It will be released on May 27th worldwide.
