Hyderabad, July 4 - Director Anil Ravipudi's comedy entertainer F3: Fun and Frustration
will be streaming on Sony Liv after its theatrical run, announced the makers.
The movie, which reunited Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah, and Mehreen Pirzada to reprise their roles from the first film, will be available to stream from July 22, exactly 8 weeks after its theatrical run as promised by the makers which is a big deal nowadays.
Produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations, the "F3" sequel was released on May 27 and grossed over 90 crores at the worldwide box office. The movies emerged as a decent success at the box office. The makers could've taken the OTT route just 4 weeks after theatrical release, however, they decided to go for the traditional release way.
For the last few months, many top stars' films took the OTT route after 4 weeks of theatrical release, some of them even started streaming after three weeks, despite earlier scheduling them for 4-5 weeks in theaters. However, "F3" will be completing its 8 weeks in theaters, for which the makers should be appreciated as the earlier OTT release could fetch them extra money.
