Mumbai, January 19 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan to team up with Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi in the upcoming Telugu film, "God Father", which is the remake of Malayalam hit "Lucifer". It will be the first time when two superstars of their respective industries will share the screen space. Salman Khan will shoot for his portion towards the end of this month.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan will also lend his support in promoting Chiranjeevi's much-awaited "Acharya", which is slated to release on April 1st. Salman shares a very good rapport with Chiranjeevi's family that when he visits Hyderabad, he lives with Chiranjeevi and his family.
While Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan gearing up for the release of "Acharya", it is said that Salman has opted to lend his star power to the promotion of the father-son team’s big-budget project. The movie will also be released in Hindi. Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios
acquired the Hindi dubbing rights of "Acharya".
While the specifics of how Salman will promote Acharya have yet to be revealed, a team source told Bollywood Hungama, "For Chiranjeevi Sir, Salman Bhai will do anything".
Directed by Koratala Siva, "Acharya" has been postponed multiple times due to the covid-19 pandemic. It was supposed to release on February 4, 2022, but the 3rd spoiled the plans. Produced by Chiranjeevi's Konidela Production Company in association with Niranjan Reddy's Matinee Entertainments, the movie will now hit screens on April 1st, 2022. It also stars Pooja Hegde, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sonu Sood in key roles.
