Box Office: 'RRR' Enters Top 10 Highest-Grossing Films Worldwide Of 2022

Hyderabad, March 28 - The year 2022 has been great for the Indian film industry so far with 8 movies scoring more than 100 crores net at the domestic box office. Director SS Rajamouli's recently released, "RRR" is the highest-grossing film among all the releases in 2022 in India and overseas by a huge margin and now, Yash-fronted "KGF Chapter 2" is also scoring huge.

The Jr. NTR and Ram Charan-fronted period action drama film has grossed approx. 1100 crores worldwide in 26 days. It became the second-biggest opening weekend grossing Indian movie of all time with 500+ crores. Rajamouli's own film, "Baahuabli 2: The Conclusion" had grossed approx. 510 crores in 2017 in the first three days.



Meanwhile, "RRR" has entered the top 10 highest-grossing films of 2022 at the worldwide box office, lending at number 10 in the list. Robert Pattinson-starrer DC superhero movie, "The Batman" is currently the biggest movie of 2022 with a worldwide gross cume of $752 million, followed by Chinese movie, "Water Gate Bridge" at number 2 with $676 million.
