Actor Nani's Big Bet On Ambitious Pan India Action Drama 'Dasara'

Hyderabad, January 31 - The South Indian film industry has been continuing to amaze audiences with some path-breaking entertainers which have been able to make an impact across languages. Last year, there were films like "RRR", "KGF 2", "Kantara", "Sita Ramam", and "PS-1", among others in 2021, it was "Pushpa" which enjoyed the phenomena of the Pan India term.

It might be tough for South Indian films to beat the craziness of the last year, but there are a handful of films this year that have the potential to match the magic created by the aforementioned films across languages, especially in Hindi. Among the upcoming prominent non-Bollywood films, Nani's "Dasara" is already making the right noise among moviegoers.



The period action drama film, "Dasara" can be termed the biggest film in Nani's career, and the actor knows that thus leaving no stone unturned to make it even bigger. Directed by Srikanth Odela in his debut, the "Dasara" teaser was launched on Monday and got a phenomenal response from audiences.

Nani, who had mixed success last year, is hyping "Dasara" as the next big thing in Indian cinema. During the teaser launch event yesterday, Nani said and betting big that his upcoming movie will be the talk of the town when it releases in cinemas across the country on March 30 this year.

"It was RRR from the Telugu industry and KGF 2 & Kantara from the Kannada industry last year which created a sensation all over the country. And now, proudly and very confidently, I'm saying Dasara is going to create sensation this year just like those three films", Nani said at the event.



The teaser showcased the raw and rustic avatar of Nani which is like Allu Arjun's "Pushpa" on steroids. The teaser is definitely a promising one with Nani's unrecognizable with his makeover, however, it will be interesting to see if the movie can match the magic created by "Pushpa" all over the country.

Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, "Dasara" also stars Keerthy Suresh as the female lead along with Samuthirakani, Dheekshith Shetty, Shine Tom Chacko, and Sai Kumar in key roles. It is scheduled to release on March 30 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
