Rakshit Shetty's '777 Charlie' Crosses 50 Crores Gross At Karnataka Box Office

Bengaluru, June 20 - Rakshit Shetty's adventure comedy-drama film "777 Charlie" is proving to be a huge blockbuster in the home state, Karnataka. The movie was anticipated to do well and was one of the most-awaited Kannada movies of the year.

Directed by Kiranraj K, "777 Charlie" has crossed a milestone of 50 crores gross in Karnataka, becoming only the 4th film of 2022 to do so. The film has managed to draw huge attention of moviegoers because of its heartwarming story which follows the journey and bonding between a lonely factory worker and a stray Labrador dog.



"777 Charlie" has also become only the second movie of Shetty to reach 50 crores gross in Karnataka. It scored an excellent 7.10 crores gross on its second Sunday, pushing its total gross collection to 54.40 crores in the state. At the worldwide box office, the movie has scored a whopping 71 crores so far and is all set to become the biggest-grosser of Shetty's career, both domestically and overseas.

Produced by G. S. Gupta, and Rakshit Shetty, the movie stars Charlie, a labrador dog as the titular character, and Rakshit Shetty alongside Sangeetha Sringeri, Raj B. Shetty, Danish Sait, and Bobby Simha in key roles. Along with the original Kannada version, it was also dubbed and released in 4 other languages - Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
