Mumbai, May 27 - Director Prashanth Neel's KGF: Chapter 2 has been a monster hit at the box office not just domestically but also in overseas markets. The Yash-starrer movie has collected approx. 1200 crores worldwide and is now only the 3rd Indian movie to reach there.

The movie has also brought joy to the ticketing website BookMyShow as it has created an all-time record on the platform. BMS has sold over 17.1 million tickets for KGF 2, which is the highest ever on this platform. The previous record belonged to SS Rajamouli's epic blockbuster Baahubali 2 The Conclusion, which sold 17 million tickets on BMS.

Produced by Hombale Films, KGF 2 follows the assassin Rocky (Yash), who after establishing himself as the kingpin of the Kolar Gold Fields, must retain his supremacy over adversaries and government officials, while also coming to terms with his past.

Apart from Yash, the movie also stars Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, and Prakash Raj, among others in key roles. While the movie is still playing in limited theaters, it is also available to stream on Amazon Prime Video via PVOD or Pay-Per-View for all versions including Hindi.
