Vetrimaaran Confirms His Film With Thalapathy Vijay

From the last couple of weeks, there have been a lot of reports claiming National Award-winning director, Vetrimaaran joining hands with Thalapathy Vijay for his next film. While the reports have come out true, the film, however, is not happening anytime soon with the director busy with his other commitments.

According to TOI, Vatrimaaran has confirmed his film with Vijay. He was supposed to direct Thalapathy's 65th film but missed the opportunity due to his prior commitments. Vijay, on the other hand, joined hands with director Nelson Dhilipkumar for his 65th film that is being produced by Sun Pictures. The movie also stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead.



Vetrimaaran is currently filming for his next starring Soori in the lead role, and the film shooting is nearing the completion. Vetrimaaran has also signed up to work under RS Infotainment, and announced another film with Suriya in the lead role, which is titled 'Vaadi Vaasal'.

Meanwhile, Vetrimaaran last directorial, Asuran grabbed the attention recently for bringing a couple of National Awards at the 67th National Film Awards. Asuran was announced Best Tamil film of 2019 while actor Dhanush won the Best Actor award for his act in Asuran.
