Chennai, January 11 - Thalapathy Vijay's much-awaited family action drama film Varisu hits theaters today amid huge anticipation. The superstar team up with director Vamshi Paidipally for the first time and the combo seems to have worked well.

Produced by Dil Raju, "Varisu" had its premiere last night in Chennai where critics and media people were present. The early reaction to the premiere show was overwhelming with critics praising director Vamshi for showing strong family conflicts and Thalapathy Vijay for spreading his magic.



The movie is being hailed as a complete new for Thalapathy who has been doing mass action entertainer. "Varisu" also stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead along with R Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Shaam, and Khushbu, among others in key roles.
