Chennai, February 6 - The blockbuster duo of Thalapathy Vijay and director Atlee coming together once again after 4 years.
After delivering three blockbusters in the form of "Theri" (2016), "Mersal" (2017), and "Bigil" (2019), the actor-director combo is all set to reunite for the 4th time an action entertainer. According to a Pinkvilla report, the movie will start production in September or October this year.
It is said that director Atlee has been in talks with Thalapathy about a new film and the actor has okayed the idea. The filmmaker will soon start the pre-production after completing "Jawan" starring Shah Rukh Khan.
Sun Pictures, which produced Thalapathy Vijay's "Beast" will reportedly be producing the actor's upcoming movie with Atlee. It will be an action entertainer but will have a unique element in the screenplay much like the previous films of the duo.
Meanwhile, Thalapathy Vijay is currently shooting for "Thalapathy 67" with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. It is the most hyped film in Tamil cinema and is scheduled to release on October 19 this year. Atlee, on the other hand, will wrap up "Jawan", which is his Bollywood debut, by March as the movie is slated for June 2 release in multiple languages.
