Tamil Superstar Dhanush Hits 10 Million Followers On Twitter; First Actor From Kollywood To Achieve The Feat

Chennai, July 18, 2021: Tamil superstar, Dhanush has been on the rise for the last couple of years. He is not only catching eyeballs for his larger-than-life roles but is also quite famous on social media. One such example of his ever-rising stardom is that he is the only actor from Kollywood to reach 10 million followers on Twitter.

The Asuran actor on Sunday crossed the 10 million marks on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, which is the highest for any actor from the Tamil film industry. Among the other Tamil actors, Rajinikanth has 5.9M followers, Kamal Haasan has 6.8M, Suriya has 6.8M, Sivakarthikeyan has 6.6M, Vijay has 3.2M followers on Twitter.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Dhanush a several films in the pipeline. He has Atrangi Re, which is a Hindi film, ready for release. Then he has a Netflix movie, The Gray Man, which marks his Hollywood debut. It is being directed by Russo Brothers and also stars Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, among others.

The 4-time national award-winning actor will also be starring in Sekhar Kammula's trilingual movie, to be shot in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. He also has a film with Karthick Naren which is currently under production. Dhanush also announced he will be joining hands with Mari Selvaraj again after blockbuster Karnan.
