Premam Director Alphonse Puthren To Unite With Rajinikanth For A Film?

Chennai, May 23, 2021: Director Alphonse Puthren's last directorial Malayalam movie, "Premam" was a blockbuster success. He was said to be in talks for many projects but none of them has officially announced apart from Paattu which is currently under production with Fahadh Faasil, and Nayanthara.

However, in a recent interaction with fans on Facebook, the director said that he has a script ready for superstar Rajinikanth and would like to join hands with him for the project. He said that he tried to approach the actor after Premem but could not reach him and now, waiting for the right time to get to meet him.



Puthren also said that all he can do is put effort and the rest will be taken care of by God. He also jovially said that he is guessing that God is busy dealing with the COVID19 pandemic now, so it will take some time to design his destiny.

After this news, fans of Rajinikanth are excited and say that Alphonse Puthren's combination with Rajinikanth will be a fresh one and they are eagerly looking forward.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth has "Annaatthe" which is being directed by Siva and produced by Kalanithi Maran. The shooting of the film is underway, however, Rajinikanth has wrapped up his portion of the film. It is scheduled to release on 4 November 2021 on the occasion of Diwali.
