Chennai, July 10, 2021: Veteran actor, Kamal Haasan is all set to make a smashing comeback to movies after a short break. The superstar has released the first look of his upcoming action thriller film, Vikram, written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Vikram, which was officially announced last year on Kamal Haasan's birthday, was delayed due to the actor's political commitments and the covid-19 pandemic. The intriguing first look poster featured Kamal Haasan alongside Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi.



Sharing the first look poster, Kamal Haasan wrote on Twitter, " "Only valour should wear the crown" I dare again to render before you the best of our talents. Like before, grant us victory!! Vikram ....விக்ரம்".

Vikram is the first film of Kamal Haasan since the Tamil-Hindi bilingual movie, Vishwaroopam II (2018). Vikram is produced by Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International production banner while the music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Contrary to the rumors, the film is not a sequel to the 1986 movie of the same name.

Kamal Haasan is also waiting for the release of Indian 2, which has been in the pipeline for a long time now. Half of the filming on Indian 2 has been wrapped up. Directed by S Shankar, Indian 2 also stars Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, and Rakul Preet Singh in prominant roles.
