Reviews are out for Mortal Kombat, as it gets released simultaneously in theaters in 3D and on the HBO Max streaming service on April 23, 2021. The movie also released in India in the line of US release in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

The film received mixed reviews from critics, with the appreciation for the fight sequences and faithfulness to the games but criticism for the screenplay. According to the early fans reviews, Mortal Kombat seems to be a fun movie with incredible action sequences and great character



The movie brings to life the intense action of the video game franchise with Mortal Kombat putting on perfection and the entire Scorpion vs. Sub Zero fight seems to be worth it for the fans.

About Movie:

Directed by Simon McQuoid, Mortal Kombat follows the story of a long-forgotten MMA fighter, unaware of his secret lineage or why he is being hunted down by Sub-Zero of the Lin-Kuei clan of assassins. Concerned for the safety of his family, he seeks out a team of fighters who were chosen to defend Earthrealm in a high-stakes battle against the forces of Outworld.

The movie stars Lewis Tan, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Tadanobu Asano, Mehcad Brooks, Ludi Lin, Chin Han, Joe Taslim, and Hiroyuki Sanada and it is produced by James Wan, Todd Garner, Simon McQuoid, and E. Bennett Walsh.
