Marvel Studios Unveils Teaser Of Much-Anticipated 'Thor Love And Thunder'

Mumbai, April 18 - The wait is over as Marvel Studios released the first teaser of the highly-anticipated "Thor: Love And Thunder". Directed by Taika Waititi, the superhero movie marks the return of Natalie Portman to the MCU and she is more powerful than ever.

Set after the events of "Avengers: Endgame", the teaser begins with Chris Hemsworth aka Thor on a quest for self-discovery. "These hands were once used for battle, now they're used as tools for peace", he says, and adds "I need to figure out exactly who I am. My superhero days are over".



Despite Thor being on a path of peace and spirituality, bad things start happening in the galaxy as Gorr the God Butcher is coming to power. Gorr the God Butcher, played by Christian Bale, wants to wipe out all gods and this makes Thor to come out from retirement.

To fight Gorr the God Butcher, Thor takes the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), and Korg (Taika Waititi). However, the galaxy looks to have a savior in Thor's ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who takes control of the hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor and embarks on a journey with Thor to find a way to stop Gorr.

Intended to be the direct sequel to Thor: Ragnarok (2017), the movie stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, alongside Natalie Portman as Mighty Thor, Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale, Chris Pratt, Jaimie Alexander, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Jeff Goldblum, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel. It will release on July 8, 2022, in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
