Mumbai, October 31 - James Cameron's highly-anticipated sci-fi epic Avatar: The Way of Water is getting ready for its release in December this year. Coming as a sequel to the highest-grossing film of all time at the box office, the expectations are no less from "Avatar 2".

The budget of "Avatar 2" is approx. $250 million which is almost similar to the first "Avatar" movie, released in 2009. In India, there is huge excitement among fans regarding the movie and this is making Disney go high in the business for the Indian market.



According to the reports, "Avatar 2" is being quoted at Rs. 100 crores in Telugu states which is on par with top tier heros' movie business. It is said that the buyers are in dilemma whether these prices will work for them or not.

Not only just Telugu states but the same kind of prices are also being asked for other industries too where astronomical figures are being quoted. While it may sound unheard, it has been reported that in Kerala, the business has been valued at Rs. 50 crores.

"Avatar 2" stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sigourney Weaver in pivotal roles along with Kate Winslet and Michelle Yeoh as new addition to the cast. It will release on 16th December 2022 in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
