Hollywood Star Dwayne Johnson Reacts To 46% Respondents Want Him To Be US President

Los Angeles, June 17, 2021: WWE champion-turned one of the highest-paid Hollywood actors, Dwayne Johnson says it is time for him to "humbly and respectfully stand up, listen and learn" when 46% of Americans favour the idea of having him as President of the United States.
According to a recent poll, 46 percent of the Americans, who were asked the question, said that they would support the 49-year-old action star's bid for the US presidency.
"I love our country to my core and I'm endlessly grateful for the opportunities I've had here, as a half-Black, half-Samoan kid being able to work my a** off knowing tenacity opens doors", Johnson tells People magazine in an exclusive interview.
Noting that he is "not a politician nor did I ever have political passions", Johnson, however, told People, "But when 46 percent of Americans say they're in favour of me becoming president, that forces me to humbly and respectfully stand up, listen and learn".
Meanwhile, on the work front, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, will be starring next in Disney's fantasy adventure film, Jungle Cruise, set to be released on July 30, 2021, simultaneously in theaters and through Disney+ with Premier Access. He also has a Netflix movie, Red Notice, co-starring Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds.
Apart from Jungle Cruise, and Red Notice, the actor will be voicing the character, Krypto in DC's League of Super-Pets, and then, he will be headlining the superhero film, Black Adam, based on the DC Comics character of the same name.
