Mumbai, July 8 - Hollywood superstar Gal Gadot has heaped praise on mom-to-be Alia Bhatt, who has wrapped up filming for her maiden Hollywood film "Heart of Stone". Alia is undoubtedly one of the most talented actresses in India currently and she has proved her acting skills time and again.
Alia has been shooting for "Heart of Stone" in London. She is playing the role of Maya Singh, an Indo-American intelligence operative. On Friday, the "Gangubai Kathiawadi" actress took to social media and announced that she has wrapped up filming for her portion in the movie and shared pictures with Gal Gadot and others.
Now, Gal Gadot has heaped praises on the Brahmastra actress and has called her an amazing talent and such a great person. The "Wonder Woman" actress took to Instagram stories and wrote, "Give some love to my girl @aliabhatt who wrapped on #HearofStone today. Such an amazing talent and such a great person".
Alia re-shared the story on her Instagram handle and wrote, "Thank you for being sooo wonderful!!!"
"Heart of Stone", which is a spy action thriller film, is being directed by Tom Harper from a screenplay by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder. In the movie, Gadot is playing the role of Rachel Stone, an intelligence operative, the only woman who stands between her powerful, global, peace-keeping organization and the loss of its most valuable — and dangerous — asset.
Produced by Skydance Media, Mockingbird Pictures, and Pilot Wave, the movie also stars Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo, and Matthias Schweighöfer, among others in key roles. It is a direct-to-digital film and will be released on Netflix.
