Mumbai, May 26, 2021: On Wednesday (May 26), rumors were floating on social media regarding Indian actor Prabhas's Hollywood debut in Tom Cruise starrer upcoming Mission: Impossible 7. The news, obviously excited Prabhas fans who would love to see their beloved hero in a Hollywood movie.

Reports of Prabhas's Hollywood debut were based on a viral post on social media, which claimed that the Baahubali actor has been roped in to play an important role in the seventh installment of the Mission: Impossible film series.



However, the excitement of fans couldn't last long as the director of MI7, Christopher McQuarrie tweeted that he was never met the actor, and refuted all the claims. He was responding to a query that asked whether Prabhas is in MI7 or not.

"While he's a very talented man, we've never met. Welcome to the internet", the director said.

Mission: Impossible 7, which is scheduled to release on May 27, 2022, also stars Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Angela Bassett, Frederick Schmidt, among others in key roles.

On the other hand, Prabhas' Hollywood debut might not be happening anytime soon, the actor already has some of the biggest projects in his hands. He will be next seen in the Pan India movie, Radhe Shyam. He also has Prasanth Neel's Salaar and Om Raut's magnum opus, Adipurush. Apart from these films, Prabhas will star in Nag Ashwin's sci-fi movie which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone.
