Box Office: James Bond 'No Time To Die' Enters $500M Club Worldwide

Mumbai, October 24 - James Bond's "No Time To Die" is well on track to become the highest-grossing Hollywood film of 2021 worldwide. The record currently stands with Universal Pictures' "Fast & Furious 9" (F9), which finished its global run at $716 million.

Meanwhile, Daniel Craig's final outing as James Bond, "No Time To Die" has entered the $500 million clubs worldwide in the past weekend. The MGM/Eon's film is having an exceptional run overseas with nearing $400 million without being released in China yet (due on October 29). It has grossed an estimated $120 million at the domestic box office (North America) in 17-days and is on track to finish near $170 million there.



The 25th Bond film is already the second-biggest Hollywood release of 2021 (behind F9). After releasing in China (October 29), it is likely to surpass of finish near F9 with strong support from the other international markets. By the end of its Box Office run, it will end up well over Casino Royale ($600 million in 2006) to become the third-biggest 007 movie ever behind Spectre ($881 million) and Skyfall ($1.1 billion).

On the other hand, Tom Hardy's "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" is about to cross "Black Widow's" total domestic cum, most likely by the end of this week. It earned an estimated $9.10M this weekend and currently stands at $181.80 million gross. "Venom 2" looking to go past $200 million at the North American box office. Worldwide, the Sony/Marvel pic has grossed $350 million and it might top $500M if it gets released in China.

Meanwhile, Warner Bros.' sci-fi epic "Dune" opened with $17.5M on Friday including Thursday previews at the North American box office. It will end up near $40M in the 3-day weekend, which would be a great result for Studio as it is also playing on HBO Max simultaneously. The movie was leaked online a day before American release with full HD print. This might hamper its total box office potential run.
