Avengers: Endgame Directors Russo Brothers Reveal The Next Marvel Project They Want To Direct

Los Angeles, July 14 - The star director duo, Joe and Anthony Russo are gearing up for the premiere of their upcoming movie "The Gray Man", in which they reunited with Chris Evans, who stars alongside Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Julia Butters, and Dhanush, among others.

"The Gray Man" marks Russo Brothers' second directorial since their record-breaking Marvel movie "Avengers: Endgame" (2019). Earlier, the Marvel tentpoles they had directed were "Avengers: Infinity War", "Captain America: Civil War" and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier". The "Endgame" was the culmination of MCU's Infinity saga as Marvel moved next to its Phase 4.



At the world premiere of "The Gray Man", Russo Brothers were asked which next Marvel project they want to take on. The director duo had previously revealed that they want direct "Secret Wars", and it seems that they're reiterating that fact. They were speaking to Deadline at the premiere of their next movie.

"Our love for Marvel is based on the books that we've read as kids and the books that we fell in love with. The one series that you know we adored growing up was Secret Wars. It's incredibly ambitious. It would be bigger than Infinity War and Endgame. But it's a massive undertaking, and you know, those two movies were very hard to make. So trying to imagine making another two movies even bigger than those two... we're going to have to sleep on it", Joe Russo said.
