Stranger Things 4 Becomes 3rd Most-Watched Netflix Series Ever

Mumbai, June 8 - Netflix's Stranger Things 4 has proved to be a global smash hit and it comfortably succeeded its previous parts to become the 3rd most-watched English series worldwide on Netflix.

The science-fiction horror drama series was watched by 335 million hours and was the most-watched Netflix title during the week of May 30 - June 5. The total watch time of "Stranger Things 4" is now 621.80 million through Sunday (June 5). At the time of writing this piece, it has become the most-watched English series ever on Netflix by crossing Bridgerton: Season 2.



"Bridgerton 2", which is an American historical-romance series based on Julia Quinn's collection of novels was watched for 656.26 million hours in the first 28 days on Netflix. "Stranger Things 4" might have beat this record by now to become the number 1 English show and 3rd overall on Netflix.

Korea's "Squid Game" is the all-time leader among Netflix series in any language with 1.65 billion viewing hours over its first 28 days of release. Part five of "Money Heist" is the second most-watched Netflix series during the said time with 792.23 million hours. "Stranger Things 4" might become the 2nd most-watched series in any language, especially with two episodes still to be released in July.
