The crime drama, directed by Hansal Mehta, captured the story of one of Harshad Mehta, the mastermind behind the biggest financial scams in the Indian stock market.
Scam 1992 has not only emerged as a winner, but it has also made Gujarati actor Pratik Gandhi, who essayed the role of Harshad Mehta, an overnight star. Now, the show finds its place in IMDb's most popular shows of all time across the world. Among the IMDb's most rated 250 web series and television serials, Scam 1992 stands at 18th position.
Among the Indians shows, the financial thriller is the top-rated with IMDb ratings of 9.5 out of 10. The recently released, TVF's "Aspirants" is the second-best Indian show with IMDb ratings of 9. It is ranked at number 52 among all-time best shows. The IMDb ratings are determined by users who rate the shows on a 10 point scale.
The Pratik Gandhi fronted Scam 1992 joined by the likes of Band of Brothers, Chernobyl, Breaking Bad, and Ricky and Morty to name a few.
