The Filmfare Awards for the entertainment industry are among the most prestigious awards in the country. Digital mediums have become the most preferred way for people to consume content. And some outstanding work has been seen in the last few years. To honour the best in the OTT, the first-ever Flyx Filmfare OTT Awards were held on December 19 and the deserving candidates took home the Black Lady.

The shows and films which were considered, released between August 2019 and July 2020, on the platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar, Zee5, AltBalaji, etc made in the nominations list.



Among the nominations for the different categories, Jaideep Ahlawat won the Best Actor in a Drama Series (Male) for Paatal Lok while Sushmita Sen won Best Actor in a Drama Series (Female) for Aarya. While Panchayat won Best Comedy (Series/Specials), Paatal Lok which was produced by Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh Ssharma's Clean Slate Filmz was deemed as the Best Series.
