Mumbai, September 18 - We all know how the "Dark" web series became a worldwide sensation with a massive viewership across the globe. Netflix announced a new outing titled "1899" which is in similar lines to Dark.

Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese, who created Dark are the creative heads behind 1899 as well. This is one of the most anticipated series from Netflix in recent times.



1899 is about how a group of European passengers traveling on an emigrant ship to a new continent gets caught in a mysterious riddle when they find a second vessel adrift on the open sea. The trailer seems to be promising and this might turn out as another most anticipated series from Netflix.

1899 will apparently be premiering on Netflix on the 24th of November. The same will be officially announced by Netflix very soon.
