Mumbai, March 29 - Producer Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films is focussing on the take his ambitious spy universe to next level. After the mega-blockbuster success of Shah Rukh Khan-led "Pathaan" and the previous films in the spy universe, the stocks have increased for Salman Khan's "Tiger 3" which arrives on Diwali this year.
"Tiger 3" will be just a trailer of what is coming next from YRF in this particular universe. The studio is already working on "War 2" starring Hrithik Roshan which is expected to start rolling out later this year. In 2024, YRF will roll out its biggest movie and possibly the biggest Bollywood title "Tiger vs Pathaan".
Taking inspiration from "Batman vs. Superman" and "Captain America vs. Iron Man",
Tiger vs Pathan will see two giant forces of Indian cinema, Salman Khana and Shah Rukh Khan taking on each other. YRF is yet to announce this mega movie officially but it is already in development with Aditya Chopra himself has developed the story along with Shridhar Raghavan.
Now, according to Bollywood Hungama, YRF is planning to take "Tiger vs Pathaan" on floors in January 2024, and in all probability, it will be released in 2025 on a grand scale worldwide. Aditya Chopra is going to keep all details under wraps because this is the biggest Bollywood film that the industry has attempted to make in a long, long time.
Meanwhile, "Tiger 3" which also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in prominent roles, will feature a cameo of SRK as Pathaan, and the shoot for the same is expected to take place next month. It will be the final schedule before the team call wraps it.
