Varun Dhawan's First Look From 'Bhediya' Revealed; Release Date Postponed To November 2022

Mumbai, November 25 - Actors Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon will be in action throughout next year with multiple releases, and one of them will be the horror-comedy "Bhediya". On Thursday (November 25), the makers unveiled the first look of Varun from along with the new release date of Amar Kaushik's directorial.

Varun Dhawan has shown his versatility through every genre and now, he is all set to take the fans in the horror-comedy universe with his captivating never seen before look. The first look poster shows him in a fiery werewolf avatar shrouded in mystic red. The VFX is being handled by Hollywood's premier effects studio Mr. X.



Talking about his collaboration with Mr. X, producer Dinesh Vijan says, "Mr. X has been a pioneer in the industry, having created some of the most spellbinding visual masterpieces of recent movie history. Ever since we conceptualized Bhediya, we knew our film needed the expertise of Mr. X to weave that epic scale".

Director Amar Kaushik says, "Bhediya is a tale filled with awe-inspiring imagery. Each and every member of the cast and crew knew that we were crafting something very special. It’s not just the path-breaking VFX. The film is a feast for the eyes in every aspect possible".

Revealing the first look, Maddock Films announced that the movie will be released in theaters worldwide on November 25, 2022. It was originally announced for April 14, 2022, release.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Bhediya is written by National Award winner, Niren Bhatt. It is produced by Vijan's Maddock Films in association with Jio Studios.
