Mumbai, March 18 - Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor-fronted romantic-comedy
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar continues to remain the first choice of moviegoers for the second weekend in a row. The movie is putting up good day-wise numbers at the box office.
Directed by Luv Ranjan, TJMM witnessed a big jump of around 65% on the second Saturday and scored 6.03 crores net, pushing the total net collection to 101.98 crores in 11 days. It has crossed 100 crores net, the second film in a row for Ranbir to do so after Brahmastra Part One: Shiva.
TJMM is also the only 7th Bollywood and 9th Hindi language movie to reach 100 crores net in the post covid-19 pandemic era. Produced by T-Series and Luv Films, TJMM has no real competition until Ajay Devgn's Bholaa arrives on march 30. It is already witnessing a big jump on its second Sunday and looking to score 7+ crores net.
The lifetime net collection of the film is now looking to go beyond 130 crores. The worldwide collection has also crossed the 150 crores mark as it currently stands at approx. 151 crores, including approx. 31 crores overseas.
