Mumbai, March 27 - Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor-fronted
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is all set to cross the 200 crores gross mark at the global box office.
The romantic comedy, directed by Luv Ranjan, is in its 3rd week and continues to put a stronghold on a decent collection. At the end of its third weekend, TJMM stands at approx. 193 crores worldwide, including approx. 153 crores at the domestic and approx. 40 crores overseas box office.
Produced by Luv Films and T-Series, TJMM should be able to cross the 200 crores mark at the end of its third week or in 23 days. It will be Ranbir Kapoor's 5th film to cross 200 crores worldwide, after "Sanju" (588 cr.), "Brahmastra" (431 cr.), "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" (318 cr.), and "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" (240 cr.).
On the other hand, Shraddha Kapoor will have her 3rd film in the 200 crores club after "Saaho" (451 cr.) and "Chhichhore" (211 cr.). TJMM is Shraddha's first film in almost three years since "Baaghi 3" (2020) also it is the first time she has been paired with Ranbir Kapoor.
TJMM is the second Bollywood film in 2023 to breach the 100 crores net as well as gross mark after superstar Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbuster "Pathaan" which has grossed approx. 1050 crores so far.
