Mumbai, May 21 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has tightened his grip and started the promotion of his long-awaited highly-anticipated comedy-drama film "Laal Singh Chaddha". Aamir recently released two songs from the movie and now, he is gearing up to launch the trailer to give a glimpse of "Laal Singh Chaddha".
Directed by Advait Chandan, the trailer of LSC will be released on May 29th during the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Aamir wants the trailer to reach the maximum number of people across the country on the first go and there is no better stage than an IPL final to achieve that.
"Laal Singh Chaddha" is inspired by the 1994 American film "Forrest Gump" which itself is based on Winston Groom's 1986 novel of the same name. It stars Aamir Khan as the titular character along with Kareena Kapoor and Naga Chaitanya (in his Hindi film debut).
Produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios, and Paramount Pictures, "Laal Singh Chaddha" is scheduled to release on August 11, 2022, in theaters worldwide.
