Thalapathy Vijay starrer Tamil movie, Master has hit the cinemas and with no surprise, the actioner is being welcomed wholeheartedly or even more by the audience. Hyped as the biggest film post lockdown, Master shattered many box office records despite the unwanted fact that it released with just 50% seating capacity of cinemas due to the covid-19 pandemic.

In the last couple of years, we have seen the trend of remakes of South Indian films into Bollywood, be it Kabir Singh, Jersey, Laxmmi, or others, audience have loved these films even though, many remakes have been rejected upfront. Now, as Master has been released and it is getting good reviews from the critics and audience, many people have already started speculating about its Hindi remake even though the movie has also released in the dubbed version of Hind as Vijay The Master.

Well, the Hindi remake of Master has been announced. It will be bankrolled by Kabir Singh producer Murad Khetani of Cine1 Studios along with Endemol Shine India, and 7 Screen Studio. The casting of the Hindi remake will be finalized soon.

According to a Pinkvilla report, "Around two weeks back, Murad along with the team of Endemol visited Hyderabad for a special screening of Master, after coordinating with the producers of Tamil original. They loved the film and decided to bankroll it in Hindi. This meeting led to paperwork and the producers now officially have the Hindi remake rights under their kitty. They have bagged the rights for a hefty sum".

Murad Khetani has earlier produced Kabir Singh that is a Hindi remake of the Telugu movie Arjun Reddy. Kabir Singh proved to be a massive hit as it grossed over rs. 370 crores worldwide. Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starred in Kabir Singh and they got a lot of appreciation for the respective roles.
