Mumbai, May 4 - Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput-fronted biographical sports drama film M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story will be re-released in cinemas on May 12, 2023.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the movie is based on the life of former Indian cricket captain, MS Dhoni. Dhoni has been one of the finest captains India has ever produced. Under his leadership, India won three ICC tournaments and two Aisa Cups.



Sushant Singh Rajput played the role of MS Dhoni in the movie which is considered as one of the finest sports biopics ever made. The movie also stars Disha Patani, Kiara Advani, Anupam Kher, Bhumika Chawla, and Kumud Mishra among others in key roles.

The movie is produced by Fox Star Studios, Inspired Entertainment, and Friday Filmworks. Upon its original release run, "MS Dhoni: The Untold Story" grossed over 215 crores at the worldwide box office and was one of the highest-grossing Bollywood movies of 2016.
