The Sushant Singh Rajput death mystery took a dramatic turn after his father Krishan Kumar filed an FIR against Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and 5 others in Patna, Bihar. In a 6-page long FIR, his father accused Rhea of abetment Sushant for suicide and also alleged that she was controlling Sushant's bank accounts as well as his medical condition.
Now, there have been some new revelations in the case. After the actress filed a plea in the Supreme Court to transfer the case from Patna to Mumbai, Sushant's family lawyer Vikas Singh has reportedly alleged that somebody in the Mumbai police is helping Rhea Chakraborty.
Speaking to PTI, Vikash Singh said, "If she (Rhea) has moved the apex court, she should have filed a petition seeking CBI investigation. FIR is registered in Patna, now she has filed a petition in Supreme Court seeking stay and transfer of investigation to Mumbai. Isse jyada kya proof chahiye ki (what more proof is needed that) somebody in Mumbai Police is helping her."
He earlier had revealed to a news channel that Sushant's family had already filed a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty in February, 4 months before the actor's demise. They had requested Mumbai Police to keep an eye on the actor.
Meanwhile, a team of Bihar Police has reached Mumbai and going through all the evidence Mumbai Police has collected so far regarding the case.
