Sunny Deol's Highly-Awaited 'Gadar 2' Confirms To Release On Independence Day Weekend 2023

Mumbai, January 26 - The highest-anticipated romantic period action drama film Gadar 2 has been confirmed to hit screens during the Independence Day 2023 weekend.

Starring Sunny Deol in the lead role, "Gadar 2" will be released on August 11 worldwide. Anil Sharma's directorial is the sequel to his all-time blockbuster "Gadar" (2001) and features the original star cast, including Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma.



The release date of the film was announced on the occasion of Republic Day 2023 with the smashing first-look poster. Sunny Deol took to Twitter and wrote, "Hindustan Zindabaad Hai... Zindabaad Tha... aur Zindabaad Rahega! This Independence Day, we bring to you the biggest sequel in Indian cinema after two decades. #Gadar2 releasing on 11th August 2023.

Produced by Zee Studios and Anil Sharma Production, "Gadar 2" will be clashing with Ranbir Kapoor-fronted "Animal" which is also slated for an August 11 release.
