Mumbai, March 17 - Actor Suniel Shetty has heaped praise on Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor and lauded the successes of their films, Pathaan and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.
Shetty, who is promoting his upcoming web series Hunter, spoke in the interview with Pinkvilla that the love Pathaan and TJMM getting is something that the actors crave.
"Real love is when the audience goes to the theatre. Real love is a Pathaan; Real love is Ranbir's film now (Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar), getting the kind of love with the audiences that want to pay to see them", Shetty said.
The actor further decoded the reasons behind the successes of Pathaan and TJMM and said that it is probably because of the less social appearance of SRK and Ranbir. "Rarely does Shah Rukh come out or Ranbir get out in public places. So that charm is very much intact. Rest is a lot of self-PR happening, a lot of buying the media that's happening which is just something that tells today or tomorrow", he added.
Shetty's Hunter releases digitally on the 22nd of March, 2023. Meanwhile, the actor will soon start the filming of the highly-anticipated comic caper Hera Pheri 3 which will reunite him with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal.
