Sonu Sood On Helping People During The Covid-19 Pandemic, 'It Took Me 19 Years To Find The Real Role Of My Life

Mumbai, June 1, 2021: Actor Sonu Sood has become a real-life superhero for the people who have been facing difficulties during the covid-19 pandemic. When the covid-19 outbreak last year, the actor decided to go all out in helping people without thinking much about finances and his own health.
Even in the second wave of coronavirus, Sonu Sood has actively been helping people find Covid resources like beds, oxygen cylinders, as well as medicines. Now, on completing 19 years in the film industry on Monday, the actor says he has finally found his true calling, which is making people smile in this hardest time.
"It took me 19 years to find the right role of my life, which I am doing today and I am glad that God is the director of this real film. Today, when I bring smiles to people's faces, that is the biggest achievement I have to date. I want to thank God for connecting me with the real role that I wanted to play in my life", Sonu told IANS.
The actor says that workwise, too, the time has gone by so quickly. "It has been 19 years since my first film Shaheed-E-Azam released. How time flies! It still feels like the first day when I entered Mumbai with a lot of pictures in my bag and the struggle started from going from one office to the other. I still feel the struggle is on", he said.
While helping out people on the ground, Sonu Sood himself had tested positive for the virus but recovered in a super quick time of just a week. While recovering, he still made sure that the help reaches the needy people.
On the work front, Sonu Sood has multiple projects in the pipeline including Akshay Kumar starrer Prithviraj along with Kisaan, Acharya, among others.
