Sidharth Malhotra To Collaborate With Karan Johar For A Romantic-Action Film?

Mumbai, July 5, 2021: Actor Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in the 2019 romantic-action film, Marjaavaan. Since then, he has been waiting for the release of his next film. While there is no confirmation on when his next film release, he is making sure the list gets bigger as he looks to be signing films after films.

The Ek Villain actor is currently shooting for Indra Kumar's slice of life comedy, Thank God, co-starring Ajay Devgn, and Rakul Preet Singh. He also has completed almost 60 percent of Mission Majnu, which is a spy thriller film being directed by Shantanu Bagchi. And now, it is said that he has signed one more film with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.



According to reports, Sidharth's next film with Karan is a romantic actioner as this genre has worked for the actor in his previous films. The story of the film is said to be similar to Ek Villain with a fresh touch. Karan Johar will be producing it while a new director will be roped to helm the project.

The movie is expected to go on floors once he wrapped Thank God and Mission Majnu. As per rumours, Sidharth will also be the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun starrer DJ, however, there are no confirmed reports on it yet.

Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, Shershaah, which is a biographical war action film based on the life of Kargil war hero, Vikram Batra. The actor stars in a double role, as Batra and his identical twin brother Vishal while Kiara Advani plays the role of Dimple Cheema.

Shershaah marks Vishnuvardhan's directorial debut in Bollywood and Hindi film while it is co-produced by Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment. The movie was scheduled for a theatrical release in July, however, as per the latest reports, it will now premiere on Amazon Prime Video in August.
