Siddharth Anand To Direct YRF's Biggest Movie 'Tiger Vs Pathaan'

Mumbai, April 6 - Yash Raj Films' ambitious Spy Universe peaked after the all-time blockbuster success of Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, and Deepika Padukone's Pathaan. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film proved to be the biggest blockbuster for YRF and also marked the official launch of its Spy Universe.

The next film, Tiger 3 starring Salman Khan, Emraan Hashmi, and Katrina Kaif will further see crossovers between multiple characters of Spy Universe films. Tiger 3 is scheduled to release on Diwali 2023, and after that, YRF has lined up two more films and those will be the Pan India tentpoles in the truest sense.



Hrithik Roshan will return as Major Kabir Dhaliwal, and he will be locking horns with Telugu superstar Jr. NTR in War 2 which will be directed by Brahmastra-fame Ayan Mukerji. The addition of Jr. NTR in the Spy Universe is seen as a masterstroke by YRF and this makes War 2 the hottest property before the ultimate showdown begins.

War 2 will be followed by, possibly the biggest Indian movie to date, Tiger Vs Pathaan featuring the country's two of the biggest stars, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in the epic face-off. Now, according to Peepingmoon.com, Tiger Vs. Pathaan will be helmed by Siddharth Anand.

Tiger Vs. Pathaan will be set after the events of War 2 which will start later this year and be released in 2024. The basic idea for Tiger Vs Pathaan has been locked and Aditya Chopra presently developing the screenplay with Shridhar Raghavan. The shoot for the same will begin in January/February 2024 as YRF eyeing to release it in 2025.

Siddharth Anand is currently directing Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's Figther which is slated to release on January 25, 2024, and once he is done with this, the blockbuster filmmaker will directly move to the YRF biggie.
