Mumbai, May 14 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has life lessons for daughter Suhana Khan, who is making her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar's Bollywood adaptation of "The Archies" comics. The musical drama ensemble includes Mihir Ahuja, Khushi Kapoor, Dot, Yuvraj Menda, Agastya Nanda, and Vedang Raina.
Shah Rukh Khan, on Saturday (May 14), took to Twitter and wrote, "From renting the Archie's Digest for 25 paise per day from book rental stores to see Zoya Akhtar make this come alive on screen….is just incredible. Wishing all the little ones the best as they take their first little steps into the most beautiful of professions".
The superstar then penned a heartwarming note for Suhana on her special moment and advised her not to take success over her head and so a failure. "And remember Suhana you are never going to be perfect... but being yourself is the closest to that. Be kind and giving as an actor... the brickbats and applause are not yours to keep...".
"The part of you that gets left behind on screen will always belong to you... u have come a long way baby... but the road to peoples heart is unending... stride forth and make as many smile as you can. Now let there be light... Cemara and Action!", he concluded.
Netflix is billing the film, which comes from Zoya Akhtar's Tiger Baby Films, as a "musical experience bursting with youth, rebellion, friendships, first loves and everything young adult, it still promises to have something for every generation". The movie is set to launch on the streamer in 2023.
