One of the 7 movies announced by Disney+Hotstar on June 29, Mahesh Bhatt directed Sadak 2 is all set to release on August 28. The sequel of the 1991 film Sadak featuring Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt, Sadak 2 will star Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur as the new addition along with two of the original casts.

Sadak 2 was announced on 20 September 2018 and was initially scheduled to release on 25 March 2020, but was pushed back to 10 July 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the nationwide lockdown, the makers decided to release the film on Disney Plus Hotstar.



The makers are gearing up for the release of the film and have released the first look posters of the leading star cast.
