Mumbai, March 17 - The sequel to Salman Khan-fronted blockbuster action comedy film
Kick was announced in 2020 amid much enthusiasm. However, due to the covid-19 pandemic, the shooting couldn't begin and the project was put on the back burner for the time being.
As Salman is gearing up for the release of his family action drama Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, he is also looking to finalize his next films for 2024, and in between, it was reported that his
Kick 2 is being revived.
Amid the rumors of Kick 2, a picture of Salman Khan with actress Rani Mukerji is going viral on social media. In the picture, Salman is seen sporting a French beard and his fans are going crazy on social media thinking that he is hinting at Kick 2.
For the unversed, Salman sported a French beard in Kick (2014), and it is the first time he has been seen in that look since then. The script, which was written by Sajid Nadiadwala and Rajat Arora, was already finalized two years back with Sajid Nadiadwala was supposed to direct it.
Meanwhile, Salman has Tiger 3, which is scheduled for Diwali 2023 release. He will also reunite with director Sooraj Barjatya later this year for family drama film, titled Prem Ki Shadi. It will be released on Diwali next year.
