Salman Khan Confirms He Will Star In Spy Agent Ravindra Kaushik Aka Black Tiger's Biopic!

Mumbai, November 29 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has an interesting line-up of films coming up. His next release will be Yash Raj Films' "Tiger 3", for which the shoot is almost completed. He then has Sajid Nadiadwala's "Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali", a Sooraj Barjatya film, and also a comedy film with Anees Baazmee.

Apart from the aforementioned films, Salman Khan was reported to be in talks to play an Indian spy agent, Ravindra Kaushik, popularly known as Black Tiger, in director Rajkumar Gupta's next film. In an interview with PTI, Salman reportedly confirmed the film, which will be co-produced by his sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri and his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri.



It's an action thriller, based on an incredible true story from Indian History. It will be the first time in his 32 years of a career that Salman will do a biopic. While the much details about the project are yet to be known, it is said that it will go on floors after Salman wraps up his film with Sajid Nadiadwala.

"It's a film based on the life of Indian spy, Ravindra Kaushik. He is famously known as Black Tiger and is regarded as India’s best spy ever. Rajkumar Gupta has been researching his life for the last 5 years and he has finally managed to lock a screenplay that does justice to the achievements and legacy of Ravindra Kaushik. He narrated this to Salman, who has already agreed in principle to do the film. It's among the most heroic and shocking stories from the Indian Intelligence history", a source had earlier told Pinkvilla.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently busy promoting his latest release "Antim: The Final Truth". The Mahesh Manjrekar-directed features Salman Khan as a Sikh cop while Ayush Sharma plays a gangster and Mahima Makawana as the female lead. Produced by Salman Khan Films in association with Zee Studios, "Antim" was released on November 26 in theaters and has so far earned Rs. 32 crores worldwide.
