Mumbai, September 24 - Director Ali Abbas Zafar recently revealed in an interview that he has a script for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and he would soon approach for the same. Now, according to the latest reports, Salman Khan has liked the idea and has given his verbal nod to the filmmaker.
The actor-director duo has collaborated on blockbuster films like Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Bharat while their fourth collaboration is also said to be a big-scale action drama film. Peepingmoon.com reports that the movie will go on floors in June 2023 and may release on Eid 2024.
The report further said that it is a challenging subject and requires Salman to undergo a physical transformation, much like in his sports drama, Sultan, in which he played a middle-aged wrestler on a journey to regain his lost respect.
Ali Abbas Zafar is currently busy with the post-production of Shahid Kapoor's yet-untitled film while is also working on the pre-production work of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff-fronted "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan". It will go on floors in the first week of January 2023 and will release on Christmas later in the year.
Salman Khan, on the other hand, has been shooting for "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" which is gearing up for December 2022 release. He also has "Tiger 3", slated for Eid 2023 release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
