Ranveer Singh's 'Cirkus' With Director Rohit Shetty Gets A Release Date

Mumbai, November 26 - Filmmaker Rohit Shetty scored his 9th consecutive century at the box office with recently released "Sooryavanshi", which stars Akshay Kumar, and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles while Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh play cameos. The filmmaker, whose films give larger-than-life experience, has become a box office guarantee.

While "Sooryavasnhi" is running successfully in theaters, Rohit Shetty has finalized the release date of his next directorial, "Cirkus". The comedy entertainer, which stars Ranveer Singh in the lead alongside Pooja Hegde, and Jacqueline Fernandez as the leading ladies, will be released in theaters worldwide on July 15, 2022.



"Cirkus" marks the third collaboration between Shetty and Ranveer Singh after "Simmba", and "Sooryavanshi". It is also Shetty's first outright comedy film outside the Golmaal film franchise. It is produced by Reliance Entertainment, T-Series, and Rohit Shetty Productions.

"Cirkus" is said to be an adaptation of William Shakespeare's acclaimed play The Comedy of Errors. The final shooting schedule of the film is expected to begin from December 1 in Ooty. Locations, where the film will be shot in the hill station, have already been finalized. It also stars Varun Sharma, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, and Murali Sharma in key roles.
